Loss of A Body Tissues Lead To Scarring

On one side we read that excess tissue formation leads to scarring, but a loss of tissue may also lead to various kinds if scars. These scars are like the scars that are left after small and chicken pox. They are very common, in fact more common that the keloids. There are internal scars also that are left after surgeries. From small ice pitch scars to the big fibrotic scars, all are products of loss of body tissues.
There are some scars that are soft to touch and may be deep seated or superficial. These are called soft scars. These are characterized by sloping, rolling edges, mingling with the normal skin. They are small, linear or dome shaped.
Many people have big scars in their back and upper arms and the buttocks. These scars are the big atrophic macules, which are much smaller on the face. They are bluish in color as the veins lie just below it. They turn white overtime and become negligible in fair skinned people, but shows even then in dark skinned people.
